ANNA NORWOOD CREATIVE
"Anna is a fantastic photographer. I had the joy of working with her while I was the Senior Director of Marketing at the Carolina Theatre of Durham. We hired Anna to photograph a variety of events including national and local touring acts, film festivals, fundraisers, and more. Anna requires little direction and feels comfortable adjusting for the perfect shot (while also remaining unseen by guests). Her photos always turn out wonderful and we commonly used them on our website and marketing materials. Even those who did not work directly with Anna noticed her fantastic work and professionalism."

"Anna Norwood has the eye of a true artist! She is always able to capture the dynamic beauty in a moment. Paperhand Puppet Intervention has hired her multiple times and it is always worthwhile. She not only brings professional high standards, she finds the magic and is just wonderful to be around."

"Anna photographs and shoots video for WildWoman each year with seamless grace and flow. She captures beautiful moments and helps all the women at the retreat to feel safe, seen and celebrated. Her imagery has helped to spread the word about our women’s gathering and we doubled our attendance after she made our 1st marketing video. I love working with Anna! Her gentle, generous spirit, preparedness, respect for everyone’s needs and her consummate professionalism make her such a joy to work with."

"Anna was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She listened to our needs and our vision while also offering valuable input that made such a difference in our wedding photos! My husband and I are both naturally pretty camera shy - Anna HEARD us when we explained how weird and awkward posed photos can make us feel. She worked us through this and took tons of candid naturals that have turned out to be some of our favorites! And when it came time to take the posed pics, Anna made us feel comfortable, relaxed and really helped us to bring out the joy of the moment! Anna is wonderfully relaxed and easy going, yet focused and professional. She’s also great with communication before, during and after shoots. She is all around awesome at what she does and we couldn’t be happier with our photos!! We would highly recommend working with Anna if you have the opportunity to do so!!!"

"Anna is so lovely to work with and really helped my retail shop stand out with brand photography and videography! We worked together to create several seasonal print lookbooks and Anna was able to capture my vision and tell the brand story across both product and lifestyle photos. She puts models at ease and truly excels at listening to the brand style and bringing ideas that help execute that vision. She also made a brand promo video that captured all the details I was looking for and created a catalog of assets for social media across several photoshoots. I came back to work with Anna again and again because when it comes to small business photography and videography she just *gets it*!"

"I had the pleasure of working with Anna on filming the Kickstarter video for my memoir, The Tao of Hoop: On the Transformational Practice of Hula-Hooping (Seriously, Though). She is an absolute joy to work with and so gifted at eliciting the very best vibes! The video was beautifully shot, skillfully edited, and really grabbed folks' attention. I was able to reach my Kickstarter goal with time to spare! Anna brings genuine warmth as well as a quiet authority to her projects. Anyone would be lucky to work with her."

“After working with Anna several times, I can safely say that she is outstanding in her craft. She was professional, communicative, and a joy to work with. She not only captured all of the shots me and my business wanted, but also some truly special candid moments that happened during the shoot. I recommend her to all of my clients and will continue to use her for all of my personal and professional needs. 5 stars."
